3rd Annual Car & Truck Show
This was our most successful car show to date, with over 136 cars registered—a 75% increase over 2017! Additions in 2018 included the presence of Pam Harsacky’s custom jewelry booth that was a huge hit, the Graeter’s Ice Cream truck, display vehicles from Montgomery Lincoln and Lebanon Ford, and new food items including popcorn, French fries, and hamburgers.
The quality of show cars was significantly improved with exotic cars like the 2010 Ferrari California, the 1989 Rolls Royce once owned by Neil Diamond and the 1967 Amphibian car which were all huge hits. Cars ranged from Model T’s to brand new Roush Mustangs and Z06 Corvettes!
The St. Susanna Knights of Columbus Classic Car and Truck show raises money for a very worthy cause in Warren County: St. Joseph’s Home. St. Joseph Home creates a home for adults and children with developmental disabilities who have complex support needs and use a wheelchair for mobility. The Home, a non-profit ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, offers a creative, loving environment for those in the residential, respite programs, and day programs. Attention to the individual’s medical, social, educational and spiritual development reveals the unique giftedness of each person. Compassionate care and respect for the dignity of life are the hallmarks of St. Joseph Home. All of the proceeds from our 3rd annual car show will be donated to the St. Joseph’s Home to help other young children and young adults live with dignity and loving care.
